Because the heads of children are different from those of an adult man or woman, and because their shapes are not yet fully formed, I will show an easy method to sketch them. You should visualize a figure as described in my third problem, using the figure ABCD, which I call a square. Divide it into four equal parts, E & GH for the eyes. Then draw an oval inside which is not too long. Let letter I serve for the forehead, KL for the cheek, MN for the bridge of the nose, OP for the mouth, GH for the chin. This way you will find in the profile face the same measurements mentioned, but the face only changes sight, as the lines bend and rise, for the view at letter R, looking to the side. Therefore, I believe I have spoken sufficiently about the heads of children.
