Human Anatomy

Teeth, identifying 'Eye' or Canine Teeth, and Molars. The four front ones are called Incisors because they cut food like knives or shears. The Canine Teeth are named so because they stand aside. Molars, or Wisdom Teeth, usually appear with age. It was very important that the front or Incisor Teeth were sharper than the other teeth so that hard foods could first be cut into small pieces, and then ground with the Molars, which are blunt and act like pestles, mixing with the saliva to form a paste. This grinding process becomes flavorless due to lack of moisture in the mouth, hence some people complain that their food forms tasteless balls in their mouth. Indeed, the food releases its full flavor when properly chewed; more juice is released, which is pleasant tasting and nutritious, as it gets crushed and broken down further. Imagine how unpleasant it would be if Molars were positioned at the front of the mouth. The nature dictates that a cutting tool touches less surface, allowing it to penetrate better: just as a sharp knife cuts better than a blunt one, blunt tools are better for crushing than cutting. Small white teeth, which are straight and evenly aligned, are the most beautiful and adorn the mouth excellently.
