Second part, containing the Principles of Drawing, Applied to Practice. Where one finds numerous examples of all parts of the human body, several Academy figures, various very varied subjects, suitable for shaping taste, and diverse landscapes: all based on the best Masters of the modern French School. • Paris, Charles-Antoine Jombert, 1773. Two parts in one quarto volume, full calf of the period, spine with five nerves, compartmentalized and adorned, red title label, three fillets on the boards, gilt coats of arms in the center, gilt edges, VIII-55-[1]-28 pages, engraved vignettes on the titles, a portrait-frontispiece for the first part, and a title-frontispiece for the second, 44 + 96 engraved plates. Text framed with a double typographic rule. Gilded ex-libris on leather at the border of the endpapers: To Monsieur Nervet. (Binding restored, marginal dampstain at the foot of the page.)

Only the plates of the first part are engraved from Rubens' designs.
