Muscles and Their Function

Since the matter to give attention to, one shall proceed to life, and see that what one has learned in the Anatomical Images is the same as what one brings forward. Then you will soon realize how necessary not only the fundamental knowledge of Anatomy is, but also understanding and feeling why you invested your time to learn these concepts.
Let us now explain the Function and Location of all the external Muscles of the Human Body according to the indication of some letters, as each shown in its place on the diagram: concerning which order we will follow; to each Muscle, we will add whether the named and explained Muscle in the First, Second or Third Illustration, or all three at the same time, shall be able to be examined. We will also identify some Muscles, (where their Beginning and End through which they attach to the Bones, and where they implant approximately, necessarily must be explained) the Number or count where that Bone on the Diagram of the Skeleton is also indicated. Why we have also ordered the Bookbinder to let the Skeleton follow the Left and those of the Muscles follow the Right hand outside the Book; to thus be able to use with more Utility together.
