Page Summary:

The text provides instructions for using a drawing machine, describing how to set up and adjust the device to properly depict objects. It explains the method to properly use a secondary machine in drawing, including adjusting angles for optimal perspective. Observations are given on improving the invention and maintaining accurate perspectives.

two slats that supported it. Then we cover the box partly with frame G, which is supported by two very thin slats, and partly with another small board, when the frame is not large enough. Once dismantled, the entire machine takes up no more space than the sole base did previously. When you want to use it to depict objects, you must return it to its original state.

Method to Use the Second Machine.

36. The use of this second machine is the same as that of the first; however, it is good to note that when the machine is tilted (33), you must decrease the angle of the mirror's inclination with the horizon by half of the box base's inclination; and when the machine is tilted slightly back, you need to increase this angle by the same half. Note also that for a parallel painting, you should move the machine forward on its base and pass the pegs through S & Q. Regarding the prints, they must be attached to a board completely separate from the machine. This board should be supported by a base that can be adjusted forward and backward comfortably.

This invention can still be improved if an intelligent person wishes to devote some effort to it, and here are some observations that might be useful. 1st. Do not use more than one convex lens: because when you use two or more, you lose the true perspective of objects. This is a disadvantage you are still exposed to, in some way.
